W.Va. Chamber president blasts cap and trade
Steve Roberts, who addressed the weekly meeting of the Bluefield Rotary Club Tuesday, said the climate legislation will impose a mountain of new regulations and mandates that could lead to a substantial hike in energy prices. He urged the Bluefield Rotary Club members to contact their senators, and to voice opposition to the proposed legislation.

“We must urge the Senate to vote against it,” Roberts said. “There is no way that increasing taxes on West Virginia electricity generation is good for families in West Virginia.”
