MISSOULA - The University of Montana is launching its Climate Change Studies Program this week with a keynote address by former U.S. Sen. and Navy Secretary John Warner.

Warner, who represented Virginia in the Senate for 30 years, is scheduled to present "National Security and Climate Change" at 7 p.m. Thursday in Urey Lecture Hall.

Western Montana weather records were again gunned down in droves Sunday, many of them falling by double digits as an arctic air mass parked itself over much of the state.
