Copenhagen accord has inbuilt hazards: Ramesh
"It is a partial victory for BASIC Group comprising Brazil, China, India and South Africa when it wrested three important benefits from US President Barack Obama at Copenhagen," he said referring to the two-week negotiations at the Danish capital.

The US gave in to our proposals on global goals and the legally non-binding nature of the accord, he said referring to India's position of not accepting any binding cuts on emissions.
Pot calls kettle black: In a letter to the WSJ, Michael Mann claims science journals should remain unpolluted by politics | GORE LIED
Michael Mann, of hockey stick fame and Mike’s Nature Trick” fame, has written a letter to the editor of The Wall Street Journal. You’ll see below that The Journal’s editors note that Dr. Mann had just recently declined a request to explain his e-mail exchanges in the leaked Climategate e-mails, but he obviously can’t resist a chance to get preachy about the need to keep science journals unpolluted by politics. Does he really think that people will take this letter seriously?
Global Warming: Where Governments Have Failed, Branson Wants to Step In - TIME
"There are some of us who believe that the problem of warming is as bad as the First and Second World Wars combined," Branson told TIME in a recent interview at the climate summit in Copenhagen. "It's that serious, and you know the key is carbon, [but] there's no war room coordinating the attack on carbon."

So, Branson has taken it upon himself — unsurprisingly — to lead the charge against carbon. In 2010, he will officially launch the Carbon War Room, a corporate think tank of sorts, designed to incubate and spread the best ways to cut carbon in corporate sectors ranging from aviation to shipping to construction.

Once more the question “Am I my brother or my sister’s keeper?”becomes an urgent moral and religious question for each of us.
Carbon Credit Scams : Conservative Thoughts
This article should illustrate just what a joke trading carbon credits really are. It is amazing that the government’s thought it was just them or Al Gore and that VAT that is nothing more than a money maker, job killer and industry destroyer subject to organized crime, mafia, mobs and shysters.
