Climate Change: Danger, paranoia or scam? | The Americano
[comment] Danger, paranoia or scam? Probably all three of them. We may be in relative danger because our planet could be changing, but I don’t think there’s any proof that links human activities with this issue. I have read multiple articles stating that the link is far from confirmed, including emails from the scientists that are supposed to be explaining this issue. How do you argue that?

The fact is global warming is very easy to sell. People get paranoid very easily, as we saw again with H1N1 and will continue to see with whatever a government makes up next time. I am no scientist, but if I would have to bet, I’d say this is all a scam.
Exploring the Unexplored Continent | [Until this is finished, how can we claim to know the volume of Antarctic ice?]
Your task is to map the ice sheet, including ice thickness, internal layering, buried mountain ranges, valleys, scores of lakes, and who knows what else. And while you’re at it, precisely measure the elevation of the ice surface and also determine what kind of rocks make up the buried landscape.
Roger Pielke Jr.'s Blog: [Let's spend money trying to cool the planet even if we think it's cooling?!]
What would my position be if it were to be shown, hypothetically, that the global average surface temperature was not warming at all, or in fact even cooling (over any relevant time period)? Would I then change my views on the importance of decarbonizing the global energy system?

And the answer is ... no!
