Brought to the brink by climate change [fraud]
Mardi Tindal, the newly elected moderator of the United Church of Canada, returned from last month's climate change summit in Copenhagen with a deep malaise. Not a true clinical depression, but an anxious despair that reduced her to weeping.
Indians Largely Unaware of Climate Change [Hoax]
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Although India has emerged as a key player in global climate negotiations, the average Indian remains unaware of climate change. A Gallup survey conducted shortly before the Copenhagen summit last month shows 32% of Indians say they know at least something about climate change, similar to awareness in previous years.
Stop lavish foreign travel on taxpayers’ dime, lawmaker says - OC Watchdog : The Orange County Register
Last week, U.S. Rep. Timothy V. Johnson introduced the delightfully-named ”Suspending Travel After Years of Pleasure Trips on Unwitting Taxpayers Act.”

It is House Resolution 4447 - more informally titled “The STAY-PUT Act of 2010“- and would severely clip congressional wings, putting the big kibosh on ”abusive and unnecessary” overseas travel “unless and until it can be proven such travel is conducted in the best interests of taxpayers.”

The Senate delegation - which mostly flew commercial - had 101 people in it. Some 320 hotel nights were booked at the Copenhagen’s five-star Marriott.

Government regulations, such as caps on carbon emissions, have the potential to destroy both the economic prosperity of western civilization and the industrial progress of the third world. Only global warming skeptics, armed with scientific evidence and a willingness to question authority, have a chance of stopping them.

We always thought deep down that the rich – and getting richer – countries of the world could never agree to meaningful cuts in carbon emissions – known in non spin-speak as poisonous pollution.
