Cold Snap Boosts Polish Gas Consumption, Storage 50% Depleted - WSJ.com

WARSAW (Dow Jones)--A snap of subzero temperatures currently in Poland boosted the country's daily natural gas usage to 64 million cubic meters, a spokeswoman for Polish gas monopoly PGNiG (PGN.WA) told reporters Monday.

With temperatures around zero degrees Celsius, Poland consumed between 50 and 55 mcm of gas a day. Temperatures have dropped to around minus 20 over the past few days.
