EPA ignores reality in scientific breakthrough - unable to disprove greenhouse effect in equilibrium
Earth's Greenhouse Effect is constant and does not rise with human CO2 emissions. That is the main point of Dr Miskolczi's results, called to the attention of the EPA in the 'Endangerment Finding' evaluation process. The EPA could not disprove this or Miskolczi’s results.Jury still out on climate change: CSIRO - Local News - News - General - The Canberra Times
Australia's peak science agency, the CSIRO, has backed away from attributing a decade of drought in Tasmania to climate change, claiming ''the jury is still out'' on the science. Why Hasn't Earth Warmed as Much as Expected?
UPTON, NY – Planet Earth has warmed much less than expected during the industrial era based on current best estimates of Earth’s “climate sensitivity”—the amount of global temperature increase expected in response to a given rise in atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2). In a study to be published in the Journal of Climate, a publication of the American Meteorological Society (the early online release of the paper is available starting 19 January 2010; the link is given below), Stephen Schwartz, of Brookhaven National Laboratory, and colleagues examine the reasons for this discrepancy.Moderator should 'get a grip'
I grew up going to a United Church. In those days, the Church was actually a Christian organization. I long ago left this dying institution, which has abandoned the Gospel for every left-wing platitude it can find. The letter from the United Church Moderator, describing how she was "heartbroken" because of the failure of climate talks in Copenhagen, is yet another example of this. Mardi Tindal doesn't understand the Gospel or science. If I were her, I would worry more about the crumbling state of the United Church and leave climate change to people who actually can look at the science critically.I Love CO2: Children may be eaten by global warming alligators in New York
Roy Eappen, Montreal.
"The growing alligator threat was made known to us because this had actually happened to a friend of a friend of a WWF researcher. We need to make more of this reporting system. Already we are finding it is really useful for identifying dangers to the public in their cars and in their homes."
"And it is also useful for raising funds for my TERI Foundation," said a smiling Mr Pachauri.
