Southeast U.S. Drought Not Caused by Global Warming - by Alyssa Carducci - Environment & Climate News
Columbia University scientists have released a report showing the 2005-2007 southeastern U.S. drought was caused by natural weather events, not global warming.

“The drought was not caused by anthropogenic climate change but by natural variability of the atmosphere-ocean system,” said lead author Richard Seager, a climate scientist at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, in an interview for this story.
Smoking Ban Health Miracle Is a Myth - by Christopher Snowdon - Environment & Climate News
To understand quite how miraculous the Helena miracle was, one must bear in mind that around 10 to 15 percent of coronary heart disease cases are attributed to active smoking. That passive smoking could be responsible for a further 40 percent strains all credibility.
Global Warming Bills Hold Unpleasant Secrets - by Jim Johnston - Environment & Climate News
There are a few things the supporters of the House and Senate climate bills apparently do not want you to know. Consider the following.
WTF? Prince of Wales tells disgraced CRU: 'Well done, all of you!' – Telegraph Blogs
The Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia is under government investigation for fraud, data manipulation and withholding or destroying scientific data in defiance of freedom of information requests. Many of the disgraced scientists working at the CRU were closely involved in putting together the now ferociously suspect Fourth Assessment Report for the notoriously unreliable Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) headed by the lethally compromised Dr Rajendra Pachauri.

Is this really the best time, you might wonder, for the future King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to praise the CRU for the “quality” of its work and to dismiss the Climategate scandal as a “little blip”? (Hat tip: Roddy Campbell)
EU Referendum: Little blips?
To say that the man has lost it does not even begin to do justice to what is happening here. There is a profound, deeply-embedded malaise in the psyche of our establishment, and our body politic in general.

This is a complete retreat from reality. The myth of man-made "global warming" offers them the ultimate fantasy, where they can convince themselves they are "doing good" without ever having to deal with the real world, insulated as they are from the effects of their own stupidity.

As the edifice crumbles around them, we thus see them desperate to shore up their belief systems, retreating even deeper into their personal fantasies. But reality cannot be denied forever. Soon enough the reckoning ... it is coming.
