Climate Change: Will Carbon Tax Unite ExxonMobil and Its Critics? | Business Ethics
“In my view, there is zero chance that any [cap-and-trade] climate legislation will pass this year,” predicts David Bookbinder, chief climate counsel for the Sierra Club. “The only thing that really makes sense is a carbon tax – but that’s the big ‘T’ word. A carbon tax has no price volatility, there is no abusive manipulation or a market; it is a very rational policy approach.”» Why Does the MSM Ignore Al Gore’s ‘Global Warming’ Million$? - Big Journalism
The MSM is so enthralled with Mr. Gore and his single-handed quest to save mankind from itself that they ignore every salient fact regarding not only the scientific sham, but every detail about the man himself, including his anything-but-sterling scientific background. Add to that shameful sycophancy their enabling of the man to bank multi-millions while he scams the public and the MSM becomes no less than an unindicted co-conspirator in Gore’s war on Western economies.American Thinker Blog: Comparative religion 101: Climate change and Islam
The analogy goes further. The adherents of the two aphorisms are animated by a religious fervor that is highlighted by an absolute faith in the truth of their saying's content. The followers in both instances are bent on world domination and conversion of all non-believers to their point of view. Their ultimate goal, in each case, is a totalitarian system in which those at the head of the system will determine all aspects of the lives of their followers. And finally, both systems deem their opponents-infidels in the former, skeptics in the latter-as unworthy, misguided, evil and deserving of no succor, mercy or salvation.Meat-free diets may not be good for planet: Scientists

We have learned that statistically it is no warmer now than a 70 years ago, before the huge increase in human CO2 production. And thanks to Dr Phil Jones finally being honest about the science, we know there is no scientific proof today is any warmer than the two previous warm periods (Medieval and Roman) that have been established science for a couple hundred years now.Global warming confession « Don Surber
And they call us skeptics deniers!
That is a big admission. It does not matter if the world was warmer 1,000 years ago as it is today or not — if Greenland really were green (or a little greener) when Europeans discovered it. What matters is that the Earth was just about as warm, and it survived. And this happened naturally without a bunch of carbon dioxide.
He also admitted the world stopped warming circa 1995. That’s a nice 15-year stretch.
The whole interview — and it is done by e-mail — is very defensive and insightful. He believes what he believes. He just can’t prove it.

On connection between AGW and Islam, Saudi Arabia intensely lobbied for Pachauri to be top UN climate boss, per East Anglia emails 4/19/2002. Saudi Arabia is the principal funder of radical Islam. Weakening and demonizing western society has been the main mantra of Pachauri which makes the path even easier for Islamization.
