Water boss joins climate sceptics - Herald Scotland | News | Transport & Environment
Ministers have been urged to sack the chairman of Scotland’s water regulator after he became an adviser to a group that is sceptical of climate change.

Sir Ian Byatt is helping the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF), a think-tank set up by former Conservative Chancellor Nigel Lawson.
...
However, Sir Ian’s views directly contradict the commitment shown by the SNP Government towards addressing environmental concerns.  [you see, if you don't believe in climate fraud, it means that you hate the environment!]
Life's a bitumen nightmare as cities get hotter than hell
More provocatively, McKitrick commented that the most widely published graph showing a dramatic global temperature rise was ''an exaggeration'', adding, ''I have also found that the UN agency promoting the global temperature graph has made false claims about the quality of their data.''

This was a direct affront to the UN's scientific consensus, which argues urban areas had made little impact on global warming trends. Some of the bedrock research for this position was done by Phil Jones, head of the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia.

In addition, Florida and Alabama are working together, along with The Nature Conservancy, to create a natural corridor, which will assist wildlife as they adapt to climate change by moving to climates that are more hospitable.
Financial Support Sought for Care of Florida's Cold-Stunned Sea Turtles
Of the thousands of turtles rescued, many have been released as temperatures warmed. But hundreds of turtles died and hundreds more are in critical condition and fighting for survival in facilities around Florida.

CCC is raising emergency funds to help pay for veterinary care and medical supplies to treat hundreds of sea turtles struggling to survive.

"Dave Watson, Scottish organiser for trade union Unison, said: “I will be writing to John Swinney, calling on him to sack this regulator."

People not so keen on the logic of making a belief in climate change a qualification for employment might want to write a similar email asking John Swinney to not make employment decisions based on a person's private views...
