OnePoll has conducted a survey in response to a Populus poll for the BBC that found a sharp change in the public perception of global warming. According to the poll, 25% of the 1001 questioned thought that global warming was not taking place; a sharp change from 15% in November. The report suggests that the cause of this might be the recent high profile news reports (such as the University of East Anglia email row) that have put the climate change debate in the spotlight.
