Toyota will likely emerge from their scandal a better company because they have, eventually, admitted their problems and dealt with them in an open and transparent way. They say they will put safeguards in place to make sure these problems will not occur again.

Climate alarmists, such as Al Gore, have shown no such awareness or humility. For him it is business as usual.

But it remains to be seen if the business of Climate Alarmism will survive.

If sunspot activity remains low and does not return to its normal 11-year cycle and the earth continues to cool, we may live to see the day when the government encourages the burning of coal to enhance the warming blanket of carbon dioxide!

“Anything that moves us to a place where we can encourage clean energy and get off foreign oil is good. Obviously we think the economy-wide is the best, would do it the quickest, but I am very open to all of these ideas,” said Boxer, who chairs the Environment and Public Works Committee.
