John Kerry touts jobs in climate [swindle] bill - BostonHerald.com
By pushing for alternative sources of energy such as wind, solar and nuclear power, the bill could create more than a million jobs while reducing pollution and cleaning up the air, Kerry said.

“It’s primarily a jobs bill, and an energy independence bill and a pollution reduction-health-clean air bill,” Kerry said. “Climate sort of follows. It’s on for the ride.”

Kerry and other Senate sponsors have avoided the phrase “cap and trade” whenever possible.

But Kerry bristled at the notion that the new focus is an effort to rebrand an unpopular idea: “This has nothing to do with branding. We are not trying to switch hit here. This is a different bill. It will have a different structure.”
[Feb 2009: Remember when John Kerry was a far more enthusiastic global warming hoax promoter?]
A highly organized, well-funded movement to deny the reality of global climate change has been up and running for a long time, but it doesn't change the verdict: the problem is real, it's accelerating, and we have to act. Now. Not years from now.
...
This is a fight we can win, a problem we can overcome, but time is not on our side. We can't waste another second arguing about whether the problem exists when we need to be debating everything from how to deal with the dirtiest forms of coal as the major provider of power in China to how to vastly increase green energy right here at home.
Climate Resistance » Trust and Science
Climate science was the source of all moral authority in the world. Impeccably well-behaved, selfless and incorruptible scientists laboured tirelessly to understand what Objective Truth Herself said. Meanwhile, evil, self-interested and unqualified parties had been paid by huge corporations vast sums of money to distort the message that had been spoken by Objective Truth to scientists through Science. Then Climategate happened, and messed the whole thing up.

Unfortunately, no matter how you try to spin this or dismiss it-Climate change is not a hoax. It is very real and needs to be addressed for the sake of our future and our children's futures. It amazes me that instead of educating the public about this issue-you and other deniers-simple promote more ignorance. I have to question how much you are really concerned about the future of our country and the world and how much you really love your country, when you carelessly dismiss climate change for no more of a reason than it "might cost more money". Shame on you for promting greed and ignorance.
