New emails from James Hansen and Reto Ruedy (download PDF here) show that NASA's temperature data was doubted within NASA itself, and was not independent of CRU's embattled data, as has been claimed.

BEIJING, Mar. 12 - A top male trends magazine has picked 54-year-old actor Zhang Fengyi as its half-naked cover model for this month's issue, which begs the questions: Is old in? The elderly hip?

Zhang is photographed in front of a melting ice sculpture, to suggest the perils of global warming, and looks like an ancient god, aged and ripped, while ice frosts his head and coats his bare torso.

Scientists are used to debating facts with each other, with the best evidence and theory winning. Well, this is a bar fight, where the facts are irrelevant, and apparently, the rules and tools of science are too. But who wins bar fights? As the Simpsons cartoon so brilliantly showed, bullies. Not always the guy who is right.
