Climate hoax hypocrite Sting: "We want big government"; Climate skeptics are "crazy"

Graham's exit puts climate change bill in limbo - CNN.com
A senior White House official told CNN that in recent days Graham has been privately threatening to abandon the climate talks unless Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, backed off plans to move to a debate on comprehensive immigration reform ahead of the environmental legislation.   [includes video interview of Mr and Mrs Sting]
Sting says the climate hoax movement is a Tea Party- a "real one".  Sting (at the 3:09 mark): A "climate skeptic is somebody who jumps out the twentieth floor of a hotel, and for nineteen floors, he tells everybody 'hey, it's fine, nothing's wrong'. He's crazy."

...what Sting didn't mention was how much larger his carbon footprint is than just about anyone else's.

He maintains no fewer than four properties in the UK with his 'core' home the 800-acre Lake House estate in Wiltshire, which boasts 14 bedrooms and eight baths.
...
Revealing some of the "fabulous" lifestyle of her former employers, Ms Martin said that "opulent extravagance reigned" at Lake House, and that there was "no regard to expense, cost or wastage" where food and drink were concerned.

The cook added that she had often been required to make an expensive rail and taxi journey between London and Salisbury just to prepare a soup and salad meal for the family, even though they also kept two housekeepers, two nannies and a butler on the premises.

"He has a 750-person crew to bring around the world and it is a difficult challenge."
...
Environmental experts labelled Sting's band, The Police, the dirtiest in the world because of the amount of pollution created during last year's reunion tour of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Germany, the UK, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan.

My response to Sting: An alarmist is someone who jumps off a chair and screams to everyone: "We're all gonna die!!!".

On the contrary, unlike the warmists jumpers, a climate sceptic is someone who refuses to jump out of the window in response to someone shouting 'Fire Fire...well, there may be a fire! Well, my computer simulation says there may be a fire....in 50 years.'

When did being a has been singer make one expert on all things climatic? Or an expert on anything other than being a tremendous hypocrite?

As soon as hypocrisy has been established - everything collapses around it.

One cannot profess virtue, unless one is prepared to live by that virtue. People are very inclined to set moral standards for others!

I would advise all celebrities to disconnect themselves with any issue relating to climate change or the environment - simply because they themselves are far more polluting and wasteful than ordinary people. Therefore, they are in no position whatsoever to lecture people on energy efficiency, let alone all the other nonsense that stems from the environmental movement.

In addition, celebrities (like most people) are totally ignorant of science and are incapable of forming a valid opinion with respect to the issue of climate change.

By any measure, it would be wise of celebrities to just keep quiet. P.S. the less said - the better!!
