Now that the Portland, OR police department has re-opened its sex attack investigation against Al “You-big-lummox-of-a-sex-poodle” Gore, should Apple Chariman Steve Jobs make Al Gore take a leave of absence from the company pending resolution of the investigation?

A working paper that examines the impact of Climategate on public perceptions of climate change and climate scientists, drawing on a national survey conducted in December 2009 and January, 2010. In brief, we found that Climategate had a significant negative effect on public beliefs in global warming and trust in scientists. The loss of trust in scientists, however, appears to have been primarily among individuals with a strongly individualistic worldview or politically conservative ideology. Nonetheless, we found that Americans overall continued to trust scientists more than any other source of information about global warming.

As well as pursuing a classical singing career and working as a teaching assistant, the 20-year old has worked for the RNLI, and even went on an exhibition to the Arctic to collect vital research for global warming.

She said: “I think that’s been the thing that’s tested me most in my life.

“Getting caught up in an Arctic storm in minus 40 degree weather was definitely an experience.

“It’s safe to say I wasn’t in a bikini then though.”
