Well, I thought that video was funny (though they flogged the joke to, err, death)
The 'anomalies’ of Dr Rajendra Pachauri’s charity accounts - Telegraph
Why did the Charities Commission let the European wing of Rajendra Pachauri's empire get away with such poor accounting, asks Christopher Booker.
...
Next weekend, as delegates from 194 countries gather in South Korea for a crucial meeting of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, their big talking point will be whether the IPCC’s chairman Dr Rajendra Pachauri should resign – as a recent report from the world’s leading scientific academies seemed strongly to hint he should. The delegates face a dilemma. If they sack him, it would be a serious blow to the reputation of the panel, which has been central to the global warming scare since its founding in 1988. If he stays, it could severely damage the authority of its next major report, due in four years’ time.
EU Referendum: Before and after
Booker's column is heavily "legalled" but it still manages to get through the very peculiar story of Rajendra Pachauri's idea of accounting – for it is he that is one of the founding directors of TERI-Europe and trustee.

The interesting thing is that, when we had completed our investigation and approached TERI-Europe with our evidence, the charity's secretary immediately admitted that there were "anomalies" in the accounts. She could hardly do anything else – we had them banged to rights.
DailyTech - Researchers Fight Global Warming with Genetically Altered Trees
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory researchers claim that global warming can be fought through the use of genetically altered trees and plants.

The leaders of the study – Christer Jansson, Stan D. Wullschleger, Udaya C. Kalluri, and Gerald A. Tuskan – believe that creating forests of genetically altered trees and plants will remove "several billion tons of carbon" annually from the atmosphere, ultimately helping in the battle against global warming.

I make specific mention of Professor Carter and his publication record, because yesterday, on the ABC Science Show, it was repeatedly stated that Professor Carter has a very poor publication record.
