Makes you see how many moving parts there are to a big piece of legislation like that. It's so much easier being a Republican and not caring about prissy little things like the future of the planet. Cutting taxes and slashing regulations is so much more fun.SplatterGate: When Greenpeace is given lemons, they make lemonade - Freedom Pub
In a way, Holdren's efforts over a decade ago are in a straight line to that awful video - don't defend the science, just make sure nobody trusts skeptics by ANY means possible. In this case, the Greenpeace spokesperson once again deflects the narrative back to their propaganda about scheming skeptics, and you know this will soon be regurgitated by left-wing bloggers in viral form. Thus, the fundamental premise of the video is promoted after all - anybody with opposing viewpoints must be viewed with suspicion.Human cane toads | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

Green power is not just ludicrously expensive, but too often a transfer of wealth from the poor to the salvation-seeking richNC Media Watch: Green power is all about sucking the green from your wallet
On August 2, 2010 PG&E filed an application with the California Public Utilities Commission asking for authority to recover the cost associated with the cost of implementing AB32. The Cost of Implementation Fee would would raise $15 Million from natural gas sales and $0.5 Million in electricity fees over a three year period, beginning 1 January 2011.
AB32 authorizes CARB to adopt a fee to be paid for by all greenhouse gas emission sources to fund the administrative costs of implementing AB32. This request by PG&E is just the nose of the camel under the tent flap, the other electric utilities in CA are asking for the same administrative rate increase. More green to be sucked from rate payer pockets. More CAlifornia jobs to be lost as energy rates increase to uncompetitive levels with neighboring states.
