Denial and delay - RICHARD REID
Denying climate change – saying that human activities aren’t its main cause – is like coming upon a bullet-riddled corpse surrounded by cartridges and insisting there’s been no shooting.
...
The proofs of climate change and its effects are all around us, sometimes in plain sight, sometimes on scientific record. Here is some of the stark evidence:
...
Ocean wave heights have risen by more than 25 percent since the 1960’s.
...
On the upper slopes of Mt. Everest, newly-melting ice is for the first time uncovering climbers’ trash, gear, and corpses, abandoned decades ago. [How did this stuff get covered with ice?]

Seems strange in view of the fact that wind speeds have decreased recently (http://tomnelson.blogspot.com/2009/06/great-news-for-wind-power-global.html).
Also hurricane activity is near an all time low, which would suggest lower wind velocities and smaller waves. (http://sppiblog.org/news/dr-ryan-n-maues-2010-global-tropical-cyclone-activity-update#more-3056)
What is worse is denying the role of the Sun on planet Earth's climate, http://funwithgovernment.blogspot.com/2010/11/climate-stupidity-part-4.html
