The News Corp group broadcaster, led in Italy by Tom Mockridge, claims credit for having “believed in 2008 in Current TV’s potential”, pointing out that audience ratings for Al Gore’s broadcaster “are not growing”. According to SKY, the average daily audience for Current TV in 2011 has so far been 2,952, a loss of 20 over the 2010 audience of 3,600. Sadly, Current TV’s prime time audience decline from 2010 to 2011 is around 40%.
