The EU is bribing poor countries to get them to support its bogus global warming agenda
The reality is that the EU (with several members in dire straits economically) is spending hundreds of millions of taxpayers´ euros in order to bribe poor countries to join its bogus crusade against (illusory) human caused global warming. Some eurocrats even seem to take pride in this bribery: “If we put money on the table, it really creates a constructive atmosphere and good policies”. (In Brussels they seem to know the message of the old saying "He who pays the piper calls the tune").

It is easy to understand why poor countries, like Vanuatu, are going along with the EU climate corruption; who would say no to free money (worth almost 20% of the country´s GDP)? But it is more difficult to understand why European taxpayers should accept this corruption and enormous waste of money.
Articles: Warmers Go Harold Camping On Us
It's oddly humorous that the same radical leftists who mock religious fundamentalists for their prophecies of an impending Armageddon rely on the same tactics to generate their own converts. After all, the line separating Harold Camping's prediction of Jesus' time-zone-compliant Second Coming in May, and Tom Friedman's hysterical hyperbole that "we never know when the next emitted carbon molecule will tip over some ecosystem and trigger a nonlinear climate event -- like melting the Siberian tundra and releasing all of its methane, or drying up the Amazon or melting all the sea ice in the North Pole in summer" is razor-thin.

If one's a nut, so is the other.
The Reference Frame: Al Gore will choose his reality on September 14th
Thank God, almost one half of the alarmists have evaporated during the recent four years but we're still not close to zero (the safe levels) so Al Gore is going to waste some extra money to the trash bin.
US public even less convinced of Manmade warming | ScottishSceptic
Now if we remember that one in five Americans believe in Alien abductions, and note that no government agency appears to be suggesting a policy of anti-alien barrage balloons protecting the population, we can basically conclude that 20% of Americans will continue to believe manmade global warming irrespective of the evidence and government will ignore them.
