Study Finds Higher Educated Less Concerned About Warming
Warmists very frequently claim that skeptics are dummies and that if only they understood "the science", they would become Warmists. These results shoot that down. The authors waffle on in an attempt to explain the finding in ways that preserve Warmism but the parsimonious explanation is simply that Warmism is wrong. We also thought it would be interesting to understand just how many tweets were posted about some of those topics. Nearly a quarter of all questions were related to jobs and unemployment, about 18% related to the economy, 10% about taxes, and 5% about education. The graph below plots the PIPS July 7 ice thickness distribution for 2008 and 2011. 2008 had more ice area, but the ice was much thinner. As a result, a lot of ice melted in August and September. That is less likely to happen in 2011 because the ice is thicker and located at higher latitudes.
