[Mar 30, 2008] Former Vice President Al Gore is launching a $300 million, bipartisan campaign to try to push climate change higher on the nation’s political agenda.
The three-year campaign by the Alliance for Climate Protection will begin Wednesday with network television advertising that will include “American Idol” and other non-traditional shows that reach a non-news audience.

Deniers have the truth, who needs money.
Gore's Roar is worse than his bite....or should I say, nibble?
Does anyone know if Monckton's latest report written for government officials is making any traction in the U.S. Congress? The report is more than one page and the font size is a bit small, so I wonder if any U.S. Congressman could even get thru it much less comprehend his very salient points.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”---Joesph Goebbels, famous Nazi dude

This from the man who subsidizes his climate fetish with the multiple m$llion$$ in proceeds from his pre-IPO Google stock options.
Gore was hired as an adviser to Google in April 2001 (3 months after leaving the White House) by CEO Eric Schmidt, who was hired one month earlier to the tune of 14 million Google stock options.
So we can assume that Gore was compensated handsomely, and that it is this and not his crackpot climate schemes that has financed his hunt for Manbearpig... err.. climate catastrophe.
Excelsior!
