The Inquisition of Climate Science: A Scientist Exposes the Business of Denial
He first establishes the difference between skeptics and deniers, explaining that skepticism is at the core of science, but noting that when mounting evidence causes so-called "skeptics" to cling ever more desperately to their pre-ordained positions, they forfeit the title and move into the camp of deniers.

I wonder if these people have any idea just how far back "deniers" go.
Arrhenius, Fourier, Calender, and others were refuted (in the Proceedings of the National Academy and the Royal Societies, no less) on the idea of a "Greenhouse atmosphere" since 1910, at least.
There is a very good reason why the idea of "global warming" never became part of mainstream "science" until the 1980's (say).
The people who did not agree with the idea that gases in the atmosphere could warm the atmosphere in excess of the radiant energy arriving and leaving the Earth on a yearly basis basis were not STUPID.
They were simply not motivated by any political or cultural bias.
"Global Warming" is a rebirth of alchemy, two centuries after the idea was demonstrated to be complete nonsense - based on physical law.
