Aggie Joke : Texas State Climatologist Spewing Nonsense To The Press | Real Science

There is no long term trend in either summer temperatures or precipitation in Texas. It was a very hot/dry summer, due largely to very weak tropical storm activity. 2004 and 2007 were two of the coldest summers on record in Texas. Why would the state climatologist try to make this into something it isn’t?
