Prince Charles yesterday described himself as an ‘endangered species’ and warned that man risks extinction if the world fails to take notice of climate change.

The heir to the throne issued his rallying cry during a keynote speech to mark his appointment as the new president of the World Wildlife Fund-UK, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince Philip.
