Another Record Cold Day | Real Science

2012 is blowing away the record books for cold global temperatures. Not a peep out of hockey team about this of course, because they aren’t even remotely interested in the facts.

Demagogue Party attempting to detract from Gleick fiasco by distracting media

The current head of NOAA Dr Jane Lubchenco voiced that exact warning in her 1999 address to the AAAS when she served as its president:

Urgent and unprecedented environmental and social changes challenge scientists to define a new social contract. This contract represents a commitment on the part of all scientists to devote their energies and talents to the most pressing problems of the day, in proportion to their importance, in exchange for public funding.

Climate Challenge 2 | Real Science

What will the UAH global temperature be when the last climate fraudster gets paroled?

THE HOCKEY SCHTICK: 'Obama's Forrest Gump analysis of rising gas prices; Obama has deliberately sought to raise the price of energy via cap-and-trade'

Climate McCarthyism: Democrat Congressman Demands Hearing on Interior Employee Linked to Heartland

So what’s it all about? Grijalva and Greenpeace are desperate to find some redeeming social value in Peter Gleick’s professional meltdown. They want to harass somebody, anybody, connected with Heartland. They want to divert attention from the stupendous embarrassment that Gleick has become for the self-anointed “consensus of scientists.” They want to suppress independent thought in federal agencies too prone already to the maladies of group-think and political correctness.

Bully tactics are more likely to turn people off than win hearts and minds. Like Gleick and the Climategate schemers, Greenpeace and Grijalva are their own worst enemies.
