Heartland Institute takes money from Kochs, gives it to deniers

Heartland pays people to speak publicly against the existence of manmade climate change. Vocal skeptics Craig Idso, Fred Singer, and Robert Carter get between $1,667 and $11,600 per month. Heartland has also raised $90,000 for Anthony Watts for 2012.

Yes, but Carter, singer et al are only scientists. As an actor, politician and mountebank, Al Gore naturally commands a much greater appearance fee.
