Ukrainian Grain Exports Fall Due to Cold Weather, Official Says - Businessweek
Feb. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Ukrainian grain exports for February will fall below January’s 1.92 million metric tons due to freezing weather, researcher ProAgro said, citing the Agriculture Ministry.
Bulgaria’s record-low temperatures and heavy snowfalls of recent weeks have sent electricity, heating and snow-removal costs soaring by about 1.2 billion leva (about 600 million euro), not counting the costs after some parts of the country were hit by floods.
