Does Obama really believe climate change is a big threat? « The Enterprise Blog

If you’re a die-hard believer in man-made, man-contributed climate change, you view it as an existential threat to civilization. If so, how could you not talk about it almost every day, in almost every speech, if you were president?

It would be as if you thought a giant asteroid was hurtling toward Earth but decided to focus on healthcare reform instead of persuading Congress to fund some sort of anti-asteroid defense technology? If Obama doesn’t act like he takes climate change seriously, why should anyone else? He’s no better than the ultrarich greenies who own mega-mansions and jet around the world to climate change conferences.

Global Warming Alarmism: When Science IS Fiction - Forbes

Many would attribute the beginning of rampant U.S. global warming alarmism with star witness testimony delivered by James Hansen of NASA, director of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), at then-Senator Al Gore’s Committee on Science, Technology and Space during the particularly hot summer of 1988. Then and now, Hansen’s catastrophic predictions (based upon highly theoretical and unproven general circulation climate models and subjective tweaking of incomplete and unreliable surface temperature data) continue to be a huge embarrassment to NASA.

Global Warming Alarmists Want to Keep the Planet in an Artificial Stasis
