Ohio Farmers Work To Keep Climate Change On The Agenda: ‘The Drought Moved The Needle’ | ThinkProgress
“I don’t think there’s any question that farmers see a change. We can see it,” said Wise, who owns an 800-acre no-till corn, soybean and wheat farm in northern Ohio. “But it’s tough to change the paradigm. I live in a conservative part of the state and I see how skeptical people still are.”

Climate change? Bring it on. Tens of millions of currently uninhabitable acres will become habitable and farmable. That means longer growing seasons, cheaper food, and fewer hungry people on the planet. Our dependence on fossil fuels will likely plummet as solar, wave, and wind energy become economically competitive. We’ll likely see a global economic boom as the Arctic opens to sea traffic and creative new industries that will help us adapt will emerge.
A thousand new Climate Reality leaders | Climate Reality
[David Robison comment] Best of luck with your project, but this sounds bloody frightening. Are they all flying there? Will they be reducing emissions in their own lives or just ‘leading’? It sounds like a cult.

I fully believe in Man-made climate change, I don’t say this lightly, but the way this is written would be frightening to anyone who didn’t. You need to develop a lot more rhetorical skill, and maybe change your approach, and drop the Gore worship, in my humble opinion. That said – I genuinely hope you succeed in convincing the world. I’m already convinced, just in case you think I’m a troll or denialist.
