Warning Signs: Voters Abandon Global Warming Fears
Former President Jimmy Carter will address the Democratic Party convention via a televised address, but former Vice President Al Gore and candidate for President will be no where in sight.

The leading advocate for global warning will be conspicuous in his absence, but that doesn’t mean that the greatest hoax of modern times will not be mentioned.
How Democrats have shifted on climate, energy since 2008
1) A less-apocalyptic take on climate change. Unlike the GOP, Democrats haven’t quite forgotten about this warming planet of ours. But the party’s assessment of the problem has grown less dire. Back in 2008, the Democratic platform had this to say:
We will lead to defeat the epochal, man-made threat to the planet: climate change. Without dramatic changes, rising sea levels will flood coastal regions around the world. Warmer temperatures and declining rainfall will reduce crop yields, increasing conflict, famine, disease, and poverty. By 2050, famine could displace more than 250 million people worldwide. That means increased instability in some of the most volatile parts of the world.
Iowa State Senator: Why Climate Change Matters To Iowans And All Americans | ThinkProgress
I want my children and someday my grandchildren and future generations to have the opportunity to live in a world where there are forests in the Rocky Mountains, glaciers in Glacier Park, polar bears, cheetahs, and Monarch butterflies.
I want my children to live in a world where state senators don't believe that atmospheric CO2 kills cheetahs.
