Nathan Currier: Climate Change Sandy Says to US, 'Take That, Idiots!'
...we might as well keep it simple and just say this superstorm is caused by our human-made climate change
Nathan Currier
Nathan Currier is a member of the independent policy group and think tank AMEG (Arctic Methane Emergency Group) based in London, and, in a rare combination, is also a leading American classical composer, with awards such the Rome Prize and the Academy Award of the American Academy of Arts & Letters to his credit. He has been a member of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project since 2007, and served as Senior Climate Advisor and methane specialist for Public Policy Virginia until its closing. He has given public presentations on climate change at places like UNICEF headquarters at the United Nations, Columbia University, and New York University, among many others. Currier has had longtime interests in Earth Systems Science and Gaia Theory, and recently co-authored a chapter of the book Chimeras and Consciousness (MIT Press, 2011) with NASA scientist Paul D. Lowman, concerning plate tectonics and Gaia theory.
Climate change: no consensus on consensus | Climate Etc.
The manufactured consensus of the IPCC has had the unintended consequences of distorting the science, elevating the voices of scientists that dispute the consensus, and motivating actions by the consensus scientists and their supporters that have diminished the public’s trust in the IPCC.
Cold And Record Snow Pound Germany, Central Europe – Climate Charlatans Tell Us It’s Global Warming!
Record snow and cold Arctic air have blasted across Central Europe this weekend. FOCUS magazine here for example writes that up to 15 cm of snow blanketed parts of Germany, wreaking havoc on travel.
New Global Energy Balance Data Shows Climate Models Profoundly Uncertain | The Resilient Earth
What this means is that all current climate models are based on bad assumptions. And because the raw output of those models do not reproduce the actual state of the environment, climate modelers have applied “adjustments” to get the numbers to work out. The result is that climate models are both fundamentally wrong and have been wrongly adjusted—no wonder they have not provided correct predictions of Earth's future climate. This is just the latest revelation of flaws in climate science's understanding of the system they are trying to predict. Worst of all, the magnitude of the error dwarfs the slight variation supposedly caused by greenhouse gas, totally invalidating predictions of future climate catastrophe.
