Don't Debate the Consensus

Instead, explain climate change deniers by comparing them to those who disagreed with the consensus on smoking and cancer for many years after Surgeon General's warming.  It is also useful to point out that most of the prominent skeptics are funded by the oil industry.  If you wouldn't bet the farm on the say-so of the handful of scientists who believe in UFOs, why should we put our children's future at the risk on the say-so of a handful of climate change deniers?
