Athens, Ga. - Marshall Shepherd, professor of geography in the University of Georgia Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, has been voted president-elect of the American Meteorological Society.

Mr. Shepherd, what you believe regarding global warming is akin to taking the temperatures of a couple hundred children throughout the world using a loosely-guided methodology. Then, separate the anomolous temperatures in the data, average them out, then make the same diagnosis and prescribe the same treatment for ALL children. Furthermore, you're saying that the data says all the world's children have fevers, so it just has to be the fault of developed, industrialized countries, because it's the only thing you can think of that would have caused it.
Well, as long as you didn't adjust his temperature and he really does have a 40C+ fever, I would visit a doctor. Otherwise, no.
Sadly Mr. Shepherd and his ilk are taking their sick kids to an astrologer who tells them they need to "change their lifestyle" and the kid will just fine.....and these morons believe it,
