Global warming cools off | The Daily Caller
Granted, people like Al Gore will still be able to fly around and live in big mansions and stuff. But that’s okay, because he’s better than us. Everyone else will live in blissful pastoral splendor, free from the burdens of modern life.

Well, those of us who survive, at least.

Global warming is a boutique issue. And nobody can afford boutiques anymore.

The author of the Daily Caller mentions the advantages Al Gore has and that we just have to accept "he's better than us" needs to talk to the people who have worked with him personally. I had a supervisor about 20 years ago who had previously worked in the aerospace industry and he often had to interface with elected representatives, including Senator Al Gore. He came away with the opinion that Senator Gore was one of the least bright legislators he dealt with at that level. I forgot about this until a week ago when a friend was at a meeting where Bob Woodward gave a presentation and afterwords they were chatting about of the people that Woodward had dealt with over the years. The Clinton Gore team came off the brightest (Clinton) and dumbest (Gore) in Washington. Al Gore's arrogance would certainly have him thinking he's better than the rest of us but the people that know him come to a quite different conclusions.
