Greenpeace India: Hey, let's tell Shiela [sic] Dixit [sic] that we want good, reliable solar-powered air-conditioning

A dream with solar power | Greenpeace India
My heart bleeds for the people I see in the sweltering heat on the streets. Yes, I walk in this heat too but I know I can reach my office or home and cool myself. Death due to heatstroke – can you imagine that kind of death? It’s a life gone. Is our government bothered?
...
Coal - dirty coal – destroying the lives of thousands of people working in the coal mines and of those living around them; and destroying forests – is not the answer.
...
You, I, we need to tell Sheila Dikshit that it’s time to ‘Switch on the sun’.
No power-cuts for Delhi | Greenpeace India
We must ask Chief Minister Shiela Dixit to create a policy that helps implement renewable energy projects, like solar power, in Delhi.

Delhi’s doomed to another dark and hot summer if it continues to depend on other states for power. Why deal with blackouts when Delhi can produce its own electricity using renewable sources like the sun?
