Coming next year: The Great March To Prevent CO2-Induced Bad Weather

The Great March for Climate Action | ThinkProgress
Starting March 1, 2014, through a non-profit called Great March for Climate Action, 1,000 climate hawks will march from Santa Monica, CA, across the United States to Washington, DC. This will be the largest coast-to-coast march in American history. It is aimed at inspiring and motivating the general public and elected officials to act now to address the climate crisis.

While marchers will undergo eight months of heat, wind, mountainous terrain, and insects, it will be an incredibly rewarding, life-changing adventure to promote a cause they are passionate about.  Marchers will walk 14-15 miles per day and tent camp nearly every night.
I think they should strictly avoid utilizing any roads, gear, food, or medical care that have been made available through the use of fossil fuels.
