Their meeting is really to ask the rhetorical question, the only question they know – is it global warming or what? – rather than the more immediately relevant question: why are we always completely wrong about everything? I think it’s pique that makes them believe so unquestioningly in climate change. It certainly seems that climate change is now the Met office response, effectively, when they fail to tell us what the weather’s going to be like.
