Millions of people will die of starvation across the world, as agricultural yields are expected to tank and the price of food is expected to double by 2050, scientists urged in a new report released this week.
The culprit? Extreme temperatures, floods and droughts brought on by climate change, the scientists warned in this year’s US National Climate Assessment.

Apparently the authors didn't bother to check on current ag production.
Corn and wheat crops are hitting record levels in the US and globally.
They als do not seem to realize that as world food production is increasing, the amount of land under production is going down.
