Opinion: Limbaugh on AGW | The SPPI Blog
RUSH: Charles Manson has broken his silence, 20-year silence to the media. He has broken his silence to rail against the dangers of global warming. Now, look at the nutcases that are somehow aligning themselves or with each other to promote this hoax now that it has been exposed. Here you have Manson, I mean even brainwashers can be brainwashed...But, for crying out loud, back in, what was it, January of 2010, just a little over a year ago, it was Bin Laden who came out of his cave to warn about the dangers of global warming.

Why does global warming attract so many people who want destroy our country? That’s a good way to look at it. Global warming attracts any number of international, United Nations, and domestic leftists who want to destroy this country.
Division grows over global warming between the discerning and the gullible - Minnesotans For Global Warming
HACKENSACK, MN-- Despite the growing scientific evidence that global warming is not real, Americans have become increasingly polarized on this fraudulent issue, according to a first-of-its-kind study led by a Michigan State University researcher.

The gap between the skeptics and the gullible people who actually believe in the global warming hoax has increased 30 percent between 2001 and 2010 - a "hopeful" trend that's keeping draconian national energy policies from being considered, argues Elmer Beauregard.

Humanity's "Faustian aerosol bargain"

James Hansen has posted a new 52-page draft paper entitled “Earth’s Energy Imbalance and Implications.”

While this paper is a tougher read than most, the good news is that Hansen gave an hour-long talk on this topic last week, which is posted to YouTube:

The Associated Press: Report: Tribes key in renewable energy development
According to the report, solar energy on tribal lands alone could generate 4.5 times the total national energy consumption in 2004 — 17,600 billion kilowatt-hours.
Pajamas Media » Climategate: James Hansen Finds Complying with FOIA To Be Too Much of a Burden
My advice to Hansen: if this condition of your lucrative public employment is, in hindsight and amid all of the revelations, now no longer acceptable to you, you are the person best positioned to do something about that.

Barack Obama Nobel Peace Prize speech: He devotes part of one paragraph to climate fraud promotion
And that is why helping farmers feed their own people — or nations educate their children and care for the sick — is not mere charity. It is also why the world must come together to confront climate change. There is little scientific dispute that if we do nothing, we will face more drought, famine and mass displacement that will fuel more conflict for decades. For this reason, it is not merely scientists and activists who call for swift and forceful action — it is military leaders in my country and others who understand that our common security hangs in the balance.
[Has Rush Limbaugh brainwashed the EU?] - Green Inc. Blog - NYTimes.com
But what is the value of the current offer on the table from the European Union to cut emissions by 20 percent compared to 1990 levels by the end of the next decade?

Not much, according to a number of campaign groups, which say the bloc must do much more to deserve its claim of global environmental leadership.
Ocean Absorption Of CO2 Not Shrinking | The Resilient Earth
According to the USGS, during the peak of the last interglacial period, around 125 thousand years ago, sea level was about 6 m (20 ft) higher than present. This estimate is based on dating of emergent coral reefs on tectonically stable coastlines distant from plate boundaries. These data indicate that global ice volumes were significantly lower than present, by an amount equivalent to the present volume of the Greenland or West Antarctic ice sheets. This in turn suggests that temperatures were higher for longer than today in order to melt that volume of ice—all without human help. Despite these findings, global warming alarmists continue to issue bombastic statements that are known to be false—what kind of scientists are these people, who purposely mislead the public?

[Has Rush Limbaugh brainwashed all of these Russian scientists?]:  Deutsche Welle | 29.11.2009
...in Russia, climate change is not a hot-button issue, nor is much attention being paid to the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen. Russian scientists say they have no evidence that global warming is a long-term trend, and doubt whether it is a man-made phenomenon.
...
"The natural processes we have seen during the past decade are mainly the result of the sun's activity. They show a slight increase in temperature, and as a result, Arctic ice has receded," [Nikolai Babich] says.

But according to Babich, the situation is changing. The Arctic, he says, is already cooling, not warming. And the Russian government is attentively listening to those scientists who, like Babich, are predicting a cold spell.
Sisyphos and the climate
I am even more concerned that a lot of people are getting tired of the climate change topic and simply don't care. Is there a danger of "overkill" in our media coverage? I was giving a training session to some young journalists yesterday and some of them told me about a project they were planning dealing with that very subject. They have the feeling that there is so much attention to the topic that global warming is starting to leave people cold. (Sorry!)
In case you missed it: Global Warming Fraud and the Future of Science
Scientists today are well on their way to becoming an amalgam of the cheap politician and the three-card monte dealer. They are viewed by the less educated as a privileged class making alarming and impudent claims for their own benefit. The better informed find ourselves in the uncomfortable position of being unable to defend something we once admired.
More Lies Than Warming « Global Warming: A Worn-Out Hoax
Actually, a lot more lies – because there has been no warming, since at least 1998. Every “dataset” one can obtain has had the truth mangled out of it. The raw data has been destroyed. Those who controlled the data violated the public trust.

The parade of lies and abuse of funding intended for SCIENTIFIC research and services continues, but that is only the tip of the iceberg called Anthropogenic Climate Change.
The Migrant Mind: Unemployment--the low carbon footprint life
Now, I can hear the objections. "We aren't talking about not having energy," the environmentalists say. "We want wind and solar". But they have no clue that you can't have wind and solar without oil, coal and natural gas. The wind tubines are made with resins that are petroleum based. No oil. No wind turbine. As for solar, to make a solar cell requires ovens with between 500 and 1400 deg C. That takes oil, coal or natural gas. As we march into that new low carbon footprint world of no jobs, we should know that wind and solar won't happen without carbon.

Australia: Public concern on climate change waning
A report by ABC Television's Four Corners program, aired on Monday night, has revealed a significant shift in voter opinion on the issue of climate change.

Mr Newnham said the research showed public concern about climate change had fallen by between "10 per cent and 20 per cent".

Do Russians hate their grandchildren, or have they been brainwashed by Rush Limbaugh?

Russia Still Dragging Its Feet on Climate Change - COP15: Climate Change Conference - TIME

"I think to get to minus 40 is too heavy a lift," Yvo de Boer, head of the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat, told Reuters. Such a shift would require "going back to the drawing board" and would economically "come at a huge cost," he said.

But Di-Aping said "in real and absolute terms (the effort) is minimal".

Gore's propaganda works on Alec Loorz, 14,

Social Entrepreneurship - Change.org: Youth Taking Action: Kids vs. Global Warming
I worked with middle school students from Ventura, California to install 9 foot poles along the beach warning of the potential sea level rise because of global warming.

I'm also the youth leader for the Alliance for Climate Education.
....
Mr Gore has been supportive of my work and every time I see him, he always tells me that he's proud of me.
...
There are still many skeptics when it comes to climate change. Even though the entire scientific community (except for maybe a few people who were bought out by oil companies) have accepted that man-made climate change is real, there are still people who believe otherwise. Big oil companies are spending millions of dollars paying off "scientists" just to go out and deny global warming. These are people who are making hundreds of thousands of dollars per year by Exxon and other "interest groups," and are featured in movies like "The Great Global Warming Swindle." And, unfortunately, there is a big group of people who believe what these people are saying, just because they saw it on TV.

I actually got started in this whole thing, though, in a debate with my best friend who didn't believe that climate change was real. I was so mad and frustrated that I couldn't debate with him well enough, so I went home that night and researched all that I could and made my first presentation to prove him wrong! Then, I turned what I learned into my first presentation called "The Climate Skeptic's Five Flavors of Denial" and I began to teach others how to debate with skeptics.

But I've learned since then that there are a lot of people who really don't want to debate. They aren't really "skeptics" because "skeptic" means they're open to learn the truth, even if it is different from what they think. They are "deniers" because it doesn't matter WHAT research or logic you use to talk with them, they just want to be nasty and attack you. I get criticisms all the time through the internet. It's like a safe place for people to be nasty or something. Whenever an article comes out about my global warming work, there are tons of people who get on there anonymously and make comments that I'm misinformed or brainwashed or that I'm lying to people.

These people, I usually ignore because I know that most of them are just angry or scared and lashing out to feel better. But sometimes, like when someone from Rush Limbaugh's staff wrote to me, I respond with thousands of words and pages of evidence from real scientists that shows not only that they need to read the research, but that I've done my research myself!

Australian Climate Madness: Climate nonsense from Greg Pyne
So the fact that a bunch of brainwashed teenagers thing that AGW is real is enough to convince you, is it? On the contrary, as education spokesman, Mr Pyne should be campaigning to ensure that children are not brainwashed in schools by repeated uncritical showings of An Inconvenient Truth...

As I have said before, the Opposition should have the courage to reject Krudd & Co style alarmism, and look dispassionately at the evidence for AGW, which is shrinking rapidly by the day. But I haven't got any money on it...
Chris Horner: Energy Tribune - Saving Speaker Pelosi: The Inept Politics of the US Cap and Trade Plan
I won’t be surprised if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Environment Committee chair Barbara Boxer and President-elect Barack Obama all send flowers to certain people I generally consider allies in the fight against committing economic suicide in the name of “global warming.” The reason: these three supporters of the moribund and politically dangerous carbon dioxide “cap-and-trade” rationing scheme have just had their prospects immeasurably improved by those whose ox they hope to Gore. (So to speak).
