The mystical "carbon credit" based upon something you can't see or touch, estimated by mathematical and theoretical formulas you can't begin to comprehend, tracked through book keeping entries you'll never see, trading for billions of dollars you can't even begin to relate to...often your taxpayer dollars...to far away lands to be spent, again theoretically, on "green" stuff. Recent audits, if even at all in the first place manageable, are...no big surprise here...proving that tons of that dough could be ending up just about anywhere, being spent on just about anything. Kulongoski requested a federal disaster declaration in Clatsop, Columbia, Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, and Yamhill counties for infrastructure repair of damages from the winter storm event that affected Oregonians from Dec. 20-26, 2008.
Finally, the question must be asked: Why hasn't anyone ever done an analysis of the fat tailed probability that bad government policy will cause a civilization wrecking catastrophe?
