New York Times Wishful Thinking « The Air Vent
With speakers of the level of the President of the EU, shouldn’t the headline read a little different!! What would happen if Obama made a speech at a conference in Europe outlining why their governments should support global warming?

The budget and the environment: A mighty dust-up awaits the president's plan for cap-and-trade.
Alarmist global warming movie Sizzle flops
For proof of Olson’s critique, look no further than the reaction Sizzle itself generated. “Last fall, I showed the movie to a group of mostly scientific people at a science conference,” Olson says. “It was mostly just crickets.” Outraged science writers attacked Olson for making light of such a serious topic, even though Olson explicitly drives home the point throughout the film that global warming is real, and dangerous. “It’s all spoken in the wrong language for scientists,” Olson says. He pauses. “And I love it.”

Unfortunately, the New College showing is the only way you can see Sizzle anytime soon. Olson hasn’t found a distributor, so DVDs aren’t available. “Distribution is a disaster right now,” he says with frustration.
