The plan should be KILL THE BILL. And hope that the Europeans can take a tough stand at the G8 and shame the US into doing something better.

Call your friends in the Democratic Party and tell them to shape up or ship out. They must think we are all dummies. And tell them that this kind of bill is why people like me will never vote Democratic…nor will I vote for Obama again if this bill goes through and he signs it.

Why am I encouraging you to watch what is essentially a piece of advertising for HSBC? I'll open up the curtain a little bit here. A couple days ago I got an email from HSBC's PR agency about this event—which is happening in New York City on Thursday July 16th, 12-8pm in Madison Square Park, by the way. They pointed out it would be a good opportunity for TreeHugger readers to speak their minds on environmental issues [couldn't this also be an opportunity for climate realists to speak THEIR minds on global warming fraud?] , and possibly have them included in an online ad campaign.

As I’ve written repeatedly, this whole enviro doomsday and global warming nonsense is the bogeyman that scared leftists and inept governments which have already surrendered to Islam use to distract from real threats.
