[Obama: Still babbling about the climate scam]
Inaugurating two days of talks in Washington, Obama said that Washington and Beijing had responsibilities as the two largest producers of carbon emissions blamed for global warming.

"Together we can chart a low carbon recovery," Obama said.

"Let's be frank: neither of us profits from a growing dependence on foreign oil, nor can we spare our people from the ravages of climate change unless we cooperate," Obama said.

"Common sense calls upon us to act," he said.

Just Getting a Climate Bill Out of Committee by December a Good Start: Sen. John Kerry : TreeHugger
We'd Like to Get a Bill Signed in November, But...

Sen. Kerry on Climate Bill: ‘We’re Going to Get It Done’ by Darren Samuelsohn: Yale Environment 360
e360: At the press conference after Lieberman-Warner last year you talked about how this was one of the first times that the senators had had to grapple with the issue. What’s changed from last year to this year?

Kerry: I think our colleagues are well aware of the problem and concerned about it. They’re just trying to figure out what’s the best way to try to deal with it. I think what’s changed is that the science is coming back dramatically faster — and in greater affirmation of the predictions — than anybody had thought, and so scientists are deeply alarmed.
