Time For Action (1927): 700,000 Climate Victims In Just Eleven Months! | Real Science

Kevin Grandia | Is Obama Already Waffling on his Climate Change Commitment?
It sure didn't take the President long to water down the passionate commitment he made to the electorate just a week ago when he stated in his acceptance speech that:

"We want our children to live in an America that isn't burdened by debt, that isn't weakened by inequality, that isn't threatened by the destructive power of a warming planet."  [Wow, he cared so much that he spent almost the last half of one entire sentence talking about it!!  What passion!!]
...
Time will tell whether Obama stays true to his word, but it sure as heck isn't a good sign that the President already appears to be waffling on an issue that just eight days ago he spoke so passionately about.
The sea ice is back and polar bears are heading out | polarbearscience
It appears from the ice maps that most of the polar bears throughout the world that have chosen to remain on land during the late summer and fall (about July/August through October/November) can now return to the ice.  [But the situation in the Arctic this year was supposed to be so dire for the polar bears!   Where are all the photos and documentation of the CO2-induced death of polar bears?  We've got this video from Greenpeace from the peak of the melt this summer, but the polar bears shown are clearly not dead, and in fact, they look perfectly healthy]
